How to Install Linux in Windows with VirtualBox

If we want to try the latest OS for example Linux or want to try the programs that we make in various OS (Linux and Windows) simultaneously was no easy way is by using Virtual Box. 6. Back to the main menu. we select the guest OS and click start.
7. Now you are ready to install the Guest OS in Virtual Disk. The steps are the same as how to install the OS on the computer in general. If you prefer Knoppix will not need to install.

To be able to share folders between Host OS to Guest OS in Virtual Box, we must first install the GuestAddition.
following way ( you have to install the Guest OS in Virtual Disk)
1. Change the boot order in Virtual Box to a virtual disk. click settings> general> select the advanced tab> boot order.
2. Still in the settings menu, select CD / DVD Rom> check Mount CD / DVD drives> ISO image file and browse to C: \ Program Files \ Innotek VirtualBox \ VBoxGuestAdditions.iso
3. Start Guest OS
4. Once inside, open the Terminal and change to the Administrator account with the command SU
5. Change directory to the CD ROM at the mount
6. type the command "sh. / VBoxLinuxAdditions.run" (without the quotes)
7. restart the guest OS.

To set folder to be accessed by the Guest OS
1. Select Settings> Shared Folders> Add new folder. Locate the folder on the host OS that you want to share.
2. Now go into your guest OS.
3. Mount the folder to the virtual disk you
how: typing in terminal "mount-t vboxsf [folder name] [destination mount]"
For example: the name of the song folders, and want to be mounted in / media / track
"mount-t vboxsf song / media / track"
4. Now look at the contents of the folder / media / track
5. Do not forget to switch the audio on its Virtual Box if you want to listen to songs through the Guest OS. Select settings> audio> Windows Direct Sound.
